Hi my name is Aarti Shah and Zycca is the restuarant that I run with my mum Anu Shah. We started Zycca in February. My mother is the chef! She is an Ayurvedic practitioner as well as a Herbalist and she cooks with these principles in mind. You could say my mum is a healer and she
is healing now with food. Alot of our dishes are the ones that my family in India and here really like. The name Zycca translates quite literally as sophisticated flavours and this is the ethos behind the innovative menu. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favorites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavours with a western twist. Our place is cute and romantic and we are in a heritage building just around the corner from the Three Sisters in Katoomba. We have a fire place too.
Bookings are essential.

I have now been twice to this wonderful restaurant and cannot praise too highly the elegantly different take on Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Just fabulous - I'm telling all my friends.
I have been and its just fantastic!!
Great food, very clean inside. Staff were very friendly and the food did not take very long!
We are coming again tonight! and this time...we bring some friends!
